Beauty Boutique Expert – Shoppers Drug Mart Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do. Why this role is important? To maximize sales of beauty products and services sold by Shoppers Drug Mart. Duties & Responsibilities Meet sales expectations. Maximise sales and awareness of promotional programs. Possess a “selling is fun” attitude. Promote sales of beauty products. Encourage customers to participate in the PC Optimum program. Customer Service Promote a positive environment for customers and coworkers. Always put the customer first and provide superior customer service. Actively model desired behaviour with eClienteling to provide superior customer service. Promote products through marketing and encourage use of the PC Optimum program. Actively promote and book appointments for in‑Store events. Operations Exhibit and promote the company’s products and services. Attend appropriate vendor schools. Attend workshops and education sessions. Adhere to Cosmetics Operating Standards. General Comply with all health and safety regulations. Comply with all store policies and procedures. Comply with loss prevention policies and procedures and ensure they are executed in the department. Act professionally at all times. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Planning, judgement and decision making. Independent thinking and decisions. Selling skills in cosmetics/luxury goods. Experience Proven consultative skills to provide information. Selling experience with a proven track record. Good knowledge of various beauty products and services available. Ability to conduct sit‑down makeup and skincare consultations and demonstrate application. Strong communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder. Ability to bend and stretch to stock shelves. Why work in a Shoppers Drug Mart store? Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche $18.20 – $20.55 per hour (or 18,20$ – 20,55$ per hour).
