Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Software Developer. As a Software Developer, where is your expertise in programming, analysis, and structured methodologies to develop, design, and maintain applications. Collaborate with IT professionals across the Software Development Life Cycle while showcasing your technical skills in front-end and back-end development, database design/management, and DevOps.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must Haves:

  • Proficiency in Angular/JavaScript/CSS/HTML/Spring Boot

  • Experience with UI implementation, design, and database deployment

  • Front-end and back-end development expertise, including database management and DevOps

General Skills:

  • Programming and analysis expertise with specialized software packages

  • Collaboration with IT Professionals across Software Development Life Cycle

  • Proficiency in structured methodologies for application development, design, and maintenance

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document applications

  • Utilization of object and/or third-generation language development tools

  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages

  • Application design, deployment, and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with relational database technologies and information retrieval packages

  • Eliciting and documenting information from diverse stakeholders

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

  • Track record of meeting deadlines and teamwork

Technical Skills:

  • Front end and back end development proficiency, including database design/management and DevOps

  • Knowledge of overall web architecture design and implementation

  • Experience with user interface implementation and database deployment

  • Understanding of designing and building for speed and scalability

  • Design and construction of REST API services

  • Integration of front-end UI with constructed API

  • Continuous integration and deployment implementation

  • Proficiency in Angular/JavaScript/CSS/HTML/Spring Boot/Java
