Leave your ego at the door, because at Techo-Bloc we are all equalsJob DescriptionSchedule: Monday to FridayReporting to: Transportation Supervisor & DispatcherThe Local Truck Driver – Flatbed & Dump is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of raw materials and finished concrete products between Techo-Bloc’s suppliers, manufacturing facilities, warehouse locations, and customer sites. This role is critical in supporting production continuity and ensuring high service standards across operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport raw materials from suppliers to the Production Facility in Ayr, Ontario.Deliver concrete blocks and finished products to Techo-Bloc manufacturing sites, warehouses, and customer locations.Operate flatbed and dump (tipper) trucks in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.Secure loads properly on flatbed platforms to ensure safe transportation.Perform mandatory daily vehicle and mechanical inspections and report any defects or concerns.Accurately complete all required transportation documentation and use company-provided technological tools efficiently.Follow all company safety policies during loading, unloading, and driving activities.Comply with all applicable transportation laws and regulations, including hours of service, load securement, weight, and dimensional requirements.Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach at all times while representing Techo-Bloc on the road and at job sites.QualificationsValid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving recordMinimum of 3 years of professional driving experienceStrong knowledge and adherence to safety and transportation regulationsProficiency with electronic logging tools, including E-Log (Motive)Additional InformationAnnual revenue of $75,000;Daytime work – Monday to FridayFree access to a virtual family doctor through virtual care;Group insurance plan from your first day;Employee discounts on Techo-Bloc products;Uniforms provided;Epic barbecues and Christmas parties;Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekInhouse Leadership development and personalized coaching programsTecho-Bloc is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
