In this role, you will report to the Production Manager.**You Will Make an Impact By:*** Manual assembly of electronic components including complex and accurate parts according to assembly procedures, custom specs and quality standards.* Perform hand soldering and test, mixed assemblies and custom parts.* Component preparation, placement and installation.* Final assembly and/or pack and ship as required.* The mechanical assembly as required.* Conduct repair/touch up/modifications on the products as required.* Be able to work on different aspects of manufacturing operations.* Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set.* Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives, 5s, and safety procedures.* Other duties as required.**Skills You Bring:*** Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.* Knowledge of standards in electronic components handling preferred.* Familiar with Lean principles would be an asset.* Hands-on manufacturing skills such as manual soldering is good to have* Basic Excel experience is required.* Strong communication skills and a team player.**Physical Demands and Working Conditions:*** Ability to lift up to 30 lbs* Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time* Perform repetitive tasks such as hand polishing, labeling and packaging.**Benefits:*** Bonus Percentage Plan* RRSP Matching Program* Healthcare Including Medical, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance and AD&D, Medical Travel Insurance* Global Employee Assistance Program* Referral Program* Recognition Awards* Additional Flex Day Off with Spending Allowance* Transit Zone 1 Reimbursement* Active Social Committee Programs**Compensation:**Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
