Our client, a leading manufacturer in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Software Developer to join their progressive team, on site, 5 days a week.ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document applications to meet business requirementsModify and maintain existing applicationsProvide technical support to end users for applicationsBuild, maintain, troubleshoot production and test web servers and database serversDevelop applications to work with peripherals (label printers, scanners)Communicate with both internal and external personnel including employees and product manufacturersWork in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety ActQualificationsDegree or diploma in Software Engineering or Software Development3+ years of experience in a similar role with preference from a manufacturing environmentASP.NET (C# and VB.NET), Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visual Studio and MySQLWeb services, XML, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSSUnderstanding of OO techniques and relational data modelsSubversion and TFS version controlSuperb attention to detailStrong math skillsIf you are interested in having a confidential conversation with us to discuss this and other roles with our clients, please reach out to Brian Small at 519-580-4030 or brians@pmg.on.caPMG1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
