Base pay range CA$100,000.00/yr - CA$125,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from R2 Global My client, a leading Microsoft Partner, is seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant (Business Analyst) who combines strong financial process knowledge with hands-on functional consulting experience. This is a key role within their agile project delivery team — ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex accounting and operational challenges into streamlined, technology-driven solutions that deliver measurable business value. You’ll join a collaborative and growing Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) practice, contributing to multiple full-cycle implementations with a focus on core Finance. With continued investment in their D365 practice, this role is central to optimizing delivery by bridging the gap between business analysis and solution configuration. Remote-first, with occasional travel to client sites as required. Canada-based candidates only & must speak French. Role & Responsibilities Lead client workshops to gather, document, and validate financial and operational requirements. Translate finance processes into Business Central configurations and functional solutions. Configure and optimize Finance modules including: Accounts Payable / Receivable Fixed Assets Budgeting and Reporting Collaborate with technical and development teams to ensure requirements are properly translated into system functionality. Prepare and execute test scenarios, assist with data migration, and support go-live readiness. Develop functional documentation such as process flows, design specs, and user guides. Provide end-user training and post-implementation support. Stay up to date with new BC releases and advise clients on best practices and new capabilities. Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and internal BC frameworks. Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance modules). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proven ability to lead workshops and translate business requirements into BC configurations. Background in one or more of the following areas: General Ledger and Dimensions Accounts Payable / Receivable Fixed Assets Banking and Reconciliation Budgeting / Cash Flow Forecasting Experience supporting end-to-end BC implementations in an agile environment. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Recommended Experience Professional accounting background (CPA or equivalent experience is an asset). Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Dataverse). Experience with financial data migration and intercompany setups. Exposure to Azure DevOps or other project management tools. Understanding of manufacturing, service, or distribution processes is an asset. Microsoft Certifications (MB-800 or related) preferred.
