Type of Position: Regular Your Future Role on Our Team

By joining our team as a junior engineer or technician, you’ll participate in engineering mandates in automation, instrumentation, and control. Your role will be to contribute to various phases of engineering and site work. You may also be asked to help prepare proposals, select technologies, and propose solutions to clients.

  1. Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with clients
  2. Listen to clients and meet their high expectations
  3. Help define the scope of projects and proposals
  4. Help develop various deliverables and review them
  5. Assess the technical scope of projects
  6. Coordinate the execution of onsite work by contractors
  7. Supervise technical work, ensuring compliance with client OHS standards
  8. Help with commissioning

Technical Component:

  • Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables, location drawings, I/O, loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, and installation details
  • Draft reports, plans, and specifications, construction and purchasing specifications, and calls for tenders
  • Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, level) and control valves
  • Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical/instrumentation)
  • Perform inspections or technical surveys

Client Service:

  • Interact with clients and provide technical support to the team in charge of business development
  • Establish and maintain contact with clients
  • Define client needs and identify new needs during projects
  • Participate in commercial and technical proposal preparation

Overview of Certifications and Job Requirements

Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent, four years or less of relevant experience, experience in instrumentation and control design, regular presence at a client’s site to carry out work. Assets: bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written, interest or relevant experience in Automation and Instrumentation, participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors.
