Treasury Administrator II – Vernon, BC The Treasury Administrator II is responsible for preparing and completing a variety of banking reconciliations, managing large volumes of data from multiple sources, and resolving variances. The role requires strong judgment, accuracy, timeliness, and customer‑service skills to support Kal Tire store locations and internal/external customers. Core Responsibilities Accurately monitor and reconcile assigned GL accounts within prescribed deadlines. Maintain working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, TSS, Cash Report Interface, Payroll, and other systems to determine flow of information and processes. Understand the systems and transactions that contributed to variances or errors. Troubleshoot and solve complex and non‑routine variances. Modify and run queries to extract data. Investigate and recommend corrections for any errors or omissions on a particular account. Maintain expertise on all account reconciliations (bank, GL, Moneris) so workload can be shared as needed. Generate ideas, observations, and solutions for process improvements. Receive, Distribute and Control Information Retrieve data from various systems and validate accuracy. Prepare and distribute variance listing reports for stores. Manage and prioritize high volumes of incoming data. Provide training and support to store team members. Troubleshoot process issues and liaise with Financial Systems Solutions team. Maintain control lists of all valid source documents and corrections. Manage all chargebacks from Moneris and adjustments from banks. Communication Work through issues to the end, communicating necessary actions and results with appropriate persons. Respond respectfully and timely to inquiries from field, management, and others. Build rapport with team members at store locations. Provide training and support to store team members for all Enquiries, including Moneris. Prepare and Post Entries or Adjustments Prepare and post entries/adjustments to journals or ledgers. Handle unique situations with general or limited supervision. Recognize and apply technical skills to diagnose errors, deficiencies, and recommend process improvements. Work Experience 2+ years of accounting experience. Competent in account reconciliations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability to work with and understand the General Ledger. Strong working knowledge of Excel. Aptitude for learning and becoming an expert in internal processes and software applications. Independent, analytical, and highly detail‑oriented work style. Good knowledge of Point of Sale in TSS/KINS Cash Management System. Good knowledge of the Cash Report Interface and Peoplesoft Accounts Receivable module. Special Requirements May require overtime at month end and year end. What We Offer Competitive compensation package. Target compensation $49,780 to $57,220 per year based on experience.
