Position: Hydrogeology, Environmental & Civil Engineering Field Assistant

Your Role:

  • Field supervision of geologic and hydrogeologic drilling investigations;
  • Field supervision of geo-environmental drilling investigations;
  • Field supervision of groundwater monitoring and geochemical testing;
  • Surveying activities including slope staking, second grading and topographic surveys;
  • Assistance with coordinating contractors;
  • Data entry and basic data manipulation and organization;
  • Technical software use to interpret engineering properties and design civil works;
  • Basic AutoCAD drafting; and,
  • Written communication and reporti

Qualifications:

  • Environmental Engineering graduate;
  • Engineering Geology graduate; or,
  • Civil Engineering graduate
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn shallow geologic & hydrogeologic environment;
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn lithologic descriptions of soils;
  • Knowledge and willingness to measure and sample groundwater;
  • Knowledge in surveying and willingness to learn RTK survey equipment;
  • Knowledge and willingness to learn various software for data presentation, manipulation, and civil design;
  • Willingness and ability to work in the field; and,
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a favorable driving record.
