Analyst, Quality Control - Microbiology role at Centre de production de produits biologiques (CPPB) inc. / Biologics Manufacturing Centre (BMC) Inc.We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst – Microbiology to support the QC – Microbiology department.Day shift position running Sunday through Thursday.ResponsibilitiesPerform microbial and bacterial identifications using manual and automated techniques.Conduct bacterial endotoxins, bioburden, and other microbiological analyses.Manage inventory of consumables for quality control.Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results.Maintain and calibrate QC equipment.Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) for microbiological tests based on pharmacopeial methods.Support method validation protocol writing and execution.Participate in analytical service delivery and production support.QualificationsAEC in Applied Microbiology or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.At least 1 year of microbial identification experience.Experience with Vitek 2 or similar instrument an asset.English reading/writing for clients outside Québec.Comfortable with Sunday to Thursday schedule.Odd shifts and occasional overtime (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) may be required.The Biologics Manufacturing Center (BMC) Inc. is a not-for-profit biomanufacturing facility focused on delivering innovative biopharmaceuticals to Canadians.Benefits include competitive salary, comprehensive health insurance, generous RRSP contribution, vacation program, flexible shifts, and opportunities to participate in various life committees. #J-18808-Ljbffr
