Saint Elizabeth in Canada offers a sponsored Personal Support Worker (PSW) training program to cultivate a new generation of compassionate PSWs. The six-month pathway blends paid in-class work with virtual learning and hands-on community placements.
Participants receive five weeks of paid training at $19.05/hr, then part-time community work while continuing PSW education, with mentoring and travel support. The program covers patient care, household tasks and general support.
