Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company building lasting relationships with our customers Position Details: Schedule: Sunday to Thursday Shift 19:00pm to 3:00am Pay: $24.86 Primary Responsibilities: The Driver is responsible for driving on local and national highways, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product. >Maintaining daily electronic driving logs. Drive to destinations as outlined in the manifest in a safe, responsible, manner and in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations. Notifying Customer Service with any route changes, time delays, and non-delivered orders. Checking-in with customers at each designated account and serving as a Core-Mark representative. Finding solutions to possible challenges with the assistance of Customer Service. Unloading and delivering product to assigned area within account as directed by the customer. Assisting Customer Service and Buyers as needed in a prompt, professional manner. Checking for credits and processing them according to company guidelines. Submitting customer payments and paperwork to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Performing other tasks and duties as assigned. Qualifications: Current AZ/Class 1 Drivers license High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent 1 year commercial driving experience Must be 21+ years of age Meet all Provincial licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable) Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years Pass criminal background check Pass road test Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location.
