THE TRAUMA NURSING SUPERVISOR/REGISTRAR The supervisor will support trauma patient care and contribute to trauma education initiatives. The supervisor will function as a trauma registrar by maintaining accurate trauma records and acting as an emergency medical services liaison, while collaborating with emergency staff and providing support in the department when required. The supervisor will be responsible for providing total nursing care for all patients as identified in the trauma nursing standards of care, including providing patient/family education, collaborating with other health team personnel to maintain professional nursing practices in a clinical setting, and providing customers with quality health care. Each employee is responsible to provide good customer service to all customers (employees, patients, families, visitors, physicians, volunteers, vendors, etc.).
