In this role you will coordinate daily operations to ensure flawless workflow, maintaining and exceeding quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in team performance. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, ensuring that every repair meets the highest standards of excellence for Aviva’s customers. Come join our team Be a part of this milestone as we embark on this ground-breaking journey together What You’ll DoCoordinate and supervise the work of mechanics and technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards Plan, schedule, and assign work to the team, considering priorities, deadlines, and available resources Inspect completed work, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to improve performance Find opportunities to promote customer satisfaction and process improvement Maintain quality and technical standards within the site Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Deliver on promises made to customers, ensuring minimal downtime for their vehicles Identify and resolve issues and blockages that interrupt the workflow in the workshop Oversee training needs, ensuring appropriate training is delivered Ensure an appropriate level of resources to meet customer demands Make decisions based on knowledge and data Conduct performance reviews and develop talent within the team Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre v alues and goals What You’ll BringPost-secondary education Minimum of 5 years of experience in the auto repair industry Prior leadership experience with outstanding coaching skills Valid driver’s license Strong understanding of automotive mechanics and repair procedures Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions What You’ll getCompetitive annual base salary that reflects your skills, experience, job-related knowledge and relevant qualifications Medical and dental benefits Eligibility for annual bonus – actual amount depends on your performance, Aviva Canada and Aviva AutoCare Centre Various retirement savings options including participation in optional group RRSP Competitive vacation package We offer exceptional career development opportunities We’ll support your professional development and education Uniforms will be provided based on your role Clean and safe work environment, including on site showers and break room Please note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
