Join to apply for the Client Care Supervisor (Evening Weekend) role at SPRINT Senior Care.2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJob SummaryThe Client Care Supervisor is an RPN responsible for overall client care/service during their shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls. They coordinate daily operations at the residence and supervise team members, including but not limited to Personal Support Workers (PSWs).The Client Care Supervisor reports to the Client Services Manager and collaborates with SPRINT Senior Care staff, caregivers, families, vendors, and service partners to ensure quality services.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the direct care of clients and supervise unionized staff.Ensure proper care is provided in a safe and clean environment.Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers regarding client care.Provide regular feedback to the Client Services Manager about clients.Notify individuals involved in the care circle of any changes in the client’s condition.Assist in developing and updating comprehensive care plans.Oversee medication management, including verifying, distributing weekly medications, and maintaining records.Train staff on medication procedures and supervise their adherence.Provide guidance and support to staff on healthcare questions and concerns.Complete client assessments, including interRAI CHA.Assist with client transfers to/from hospitals, ensuring timely communication.Serve as a backup to Personal Support Workers when needed.Uphold the mission, vision, and values of SPRINT Senior Care, adhering to policies and procedures.Participate actively in departmental, leadership, accreditation, and interdisciplinary teams.QualificationsRegistered Practical Nurse (RPN), in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.Strong supervisory skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with staff, clients, families, and referral sources in a multicultural setting.Understanding of aging, dementia, and the specific needs of elderly, disabled individuals, and caregivers.Sensitivity to cultural diversity.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational, facilitation, strategic, and problem-solving skills.Our Caring WorkplaceAt SPRINT Senior Care, find purpose daily by caring for seniors and supporting their caregivers.
