Job Description Personal Banker Trainee – assist customers achieving their financial goals and provide sound financial planning advice to promote loyalty and investment returns. Responsibilities Advise customers on high‑level financial solutions from available investment and credit banking products. Engage customers with thoughtful questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships. Increase customer financial confidence through personalized advice, answering questions, and addressing concerns; involve team members as needed. Serve as point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems. Maintain professional space in common areas per marketing and regulatory guidelines. Conduct financial reviews, discuss portfolio updates, and suggest solutions based on customer goals. Stay current on emerging issues, regulations, and industry codes; participate in process improvements. Strive to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets. Prepare documents in compliance with regulations and accurately reflecting business intentions. Participate fully as a team member, assist and mentor others, and address communication issues efficiently. Requirements High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience. Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required. CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired. Real‑estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset. Solid knowledge of advanced investing, credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts. Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications. Tactful communicator with concise and logical expression. Self‑initiator with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills. Trainee Mobility This role requires mobility within the assigned district. After completing training, you may be assigned a position in the region, possibly involving relocation. Training & Onboarding We provide training and onboarding sessions to ensure you have everything needed to succeed.
