Reporting to the Team Lead and working closely with the Product Owner and remaining Scrum team, you will be responsible for implementing services and features in our suite of applications in a multi-year roadmap.Working within the Scrum team to design and implement new features and services as prioritised by the Product OwnerConduct code reviews to uphold compliance with best practice guidelinesMaintain a high level of code qualityParticipate in requirements analysis to ensure a clear understanding of complex business logic and technical constraintsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of existing/emerging technologiesCommunicate and escalate challenges in a clear and timely mannerQualificationsExperience: 10+ years of experience in Software development of complex applications with bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentProgramming Language: Expert Java development experience with strong design pattern background, UI/UX experience, and excellent understanding of design principles and software development principles such as TDD, YAGNI, and LeanCloud Development: Proven experience building and deploying applications in both cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environmentsContainerization & Orchestration: Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelinesGenAI Integration: Understanding of current GenAI technologies and programming methodologies. Strong understanding of the foundational concepts of AI/GenAIDatabase Expertise: Proficient in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsBig data computation and performance tuningExperience in Oil and Gas, especially in the Geology domainCandidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
