Job DescriptionBranch Manager at TD Canada Trust leads a medium‑sized team to create a pleasant customer experience, mentor staff, and achieve business objectives while adhering to internal policies and processes.Typical Day At WorkMentor the team on advice‑giving strategies to improve customer experience and confidence.Promote TD’s image in the community through events.Understand customer needs and provide relevant financial solutions.Act as the highest escalation point for the branch and resolve matters when required.Oversee complex branch administrative duties for mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and compliance issues.Ensure optimal employee scheduling.Develop and implement business development strategies within budget.Maintain operational excellence by ensuring transaction accuracy.Mentor on One TD solutions and build lasting relationships.Liaise with Wealth and Business Banking for process updates.Cultivate a positive, customer‑focused work environment that encourages productivity, innovation, and professionalism.Job RequirementsUndergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant experience.Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) and IFIC or CSC Course.Strategic thinker with advanced investing and credit knowledge.Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications.Strong communication skills with customers, employees, and cross‑functional teams.Accurate decision maker with discretion and judgement skills.Dedicated leader who negotiates, solves problems, and communicates effectively.Who We AreTD is a global financial institution delivering legendary customer experiences to over 27 million households and businesses worldwide.
