YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER:
  1. Implement Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions that meet stated requirements for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
  2. Oversee transition to production of all new solutions to the operational support team.
  3. Engineer server and network environments; assemble tech components, troubleshoot issues, and integrate third-party products when required.
  4. Document and maintain procedures, backup environments and configuration documents.
  5. Follow change and problem management processes and procedures.
  6. Develop or enhance policies with respect to IT infrastructure.
  7. Monitor and keep up with industry trends and new technology such as IaaS and Cloud Computing.
  8. Provide technical leadership to clients, management and colleagues.
  9. Conduct vulnerability assessments; prepare client reports, presentations, and other deliverables.
  10. Demonstrate principles of superior customer service, focusing on critical thinking, effective communication, and anticipating customer needs.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER:
  • 6+ years supporting and designing IT solutions; 2+ years in a senior role
  • Strong skills in network and hardware technologies, virtualization, shared storage technologies, and Active Directory
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure), IaaS, and firewall configuration and setup
  • Demonstrated success in designing IT solutions for businesses
  • Relevant certifications in indicated technologies are considered assets
