The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering seeks Teaching Assistants for CHG4250. You will support a course with expected enrolment of 100 students while applying chemical engineering design knowledge, Microsoft Visio, and Aspen HYSYS. The assignment includes 130 total hours from January 1 to April 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proctor scheduled course activities for Plant Design Project
- Work in person on uOttawa’s main campus
- Complete assigned duties under supervisor direction
Requirements:
- Undergraduate chemical engineering degree or equivalent
- Experience using Aspen HYSYS
- Experience using Microsoft Visio for process diagrams
- Completed a chemical engineering capstone design project
- Familiarity with chemical engineering unit operation calculations
