TRE ALTAMIRAis seeking a Geospatial Solutions Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll apply your InSAR, GIS, coding and technical skills to assess and manage large geospatial datasets and prepare professional reports and presentations for delivery to our clients. InSAR experience in either an academic or professional setting is required.Creating value for our clients is always top of mind for us when delivering projects. We are based in downtown Vancouver with many team members working on a hybrid basis. We offer a great collaborative working culture, a competitive compensation package including a bonus structure, extended health and dental plan, and an RRSP program, and opportunity to participate in technical conferences, tradeshows, and in research projects.What You’ll be DoingUsing your technical background coupled with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software knowledge to critically assess InSAR data sets and perform quality control procedures, and present InSAR products to our clientsManaging full cycle projects using Asana, including timelines, internal and client communication, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously with accountability to commitmentsProviding outstanding service to build lasting, professional relationships with clients and stakeholdersWriting clear professional reports and presentations that incorporate critical thinking and spatial data analysisLiaising with the data processing team to understand and improve InSAR data sets to meet internal standards and client expectationsSupporting the sales and marketing team by preparing figures, presentations and other support materialWho You AreSelf-starter with the ability to work with limited supervisionYou have advanced organizational, time and project management skills with a focus on project coordination, communication, quality, timelines and deliverablesExcellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation skills with sound judgement in tailoring communication to the recipientFlexible and adaptable to changing demands and priorities in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative, positive and helpful attitude toward forming strong professional relationships within a small diverse teamDemonstrated ability to use critical thinking to solve problems and find new solutionsAbility to positively interact with clients, understand their needs, and solve their problems quickly and effectivelyRequired SkillsKnowledge of InSARStrong technical background with post-secondary education in Earth Sciences, Engineering (Civil, Geotechnical, Mine, Petroleum, Environmental), Geomatics, or other related disciplinesKnowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro softwareStrong communication skills, including technical report writing, presentation skills and fluency in written/spoken EnglishA focus on client satisfactionDemonstrated ability to manage client expectations and deliver client presentationsKnowledge of remote sensingCompetency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Google EnterpriseThe followings skills are an assetKnowledge of mining, oil & gas or civil engineering sectorsKnowledge of mining (e.g. Vulcan) and/or oil & gas (e.g. Petrel, Landmark) industry softwareKnowledge of surveying techniquesAdditional languages in French, Spanish, Italian to interact with our clients and other officesIf this sounds like you, we want to hear from you Please submit your resume by clicking the button below.
