The Manager, Brand and Product Marketing is the lead architect of the brand narrative and product growth strategy across The Weather Network and MétéoMédia. As a fully bilingual strategist, your mission is to be bold and set the stage for aggressive growth by focusing on our competitive advantage, evolving consumer shifts, and deeper relationships with users. You will be directly responsible for recommending, developing, executing, and measuring the results and impact of our core marketing strategies to grow our user base and drive revenue diversification. Please note, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and are located in either Montreal or Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Core Responsibilities and Focus Areas: Brand & Product Strategy Ownership Define and maintain the core brand identity and value proposition for all products ensuring seamless consistency in all English and French communication Develop the overarching omni-channel marketing strategy—including adoption, usage, reach, and retention goals—to support growth for the brand Build the strategic framework for community and loyalty programs that deepen user engagement Apply a deep understanding of the weather market, leveraging user research and competitive analysis to high-growth opportunities in the evolving landscape Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead brand campaigns, seasonal programs, and GTM launches. Develop and manage a strategic marketing calendar to ensure clarity of business priorities and alignment across functional teams Continuously monitor, measure, and evaluate all marketing initiatives against defined KPIs Partner with Digital Activation Strategists on SEM/ASO tactics, ensuring strategic alignment Identify, support, and develop strategies for market expansion efforts by analyzing potential growth markets and optimal entry strategies as required Collaboration, Enablement, & Process Collaboration with Video & Editorial, Communications, Product, Sales to define and deliver integrated growth strategies Enable the support team to execute GTM strategies effectively against key milestones Build, enhance, and streamline processes for effective planning and execution of all marketing campaigns. Serve as the in-house expert on marketing best practices, sharing key learnings with stakeholders Identify and grow strategic partnerships that provide access to new audiences and markets, while managing related partner financials and performance updates Roles, responsibilities and duties may evolve and change over time. Développer et gérer un calendrier marketing stratégique pour garantir la clarté des priorités commerciales et l'alignement entre les équipes fonctionnelles Surveiller, mesurer et évaluer en continu toutes les initiatives marketing par rapport aux KPI définis Collaborer avec les stratèges d'activation numérique sur les tactiques SEM/ASO, en veillant à l'alignement stratégique Identifier, soutenir et développer des stratégies pour les efforts d'expansion du marché en analysant les marchés de croissance potentiels et les stratégies d'entrée optimales selon les besoins Collaboration, Accompagnement et Processus Collaboration avec les équipes Vidéo et Éditoriale, Communications, Produit et Ventes pour définir et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de croissance intégrées Permettre à l'équipe support d'exécuter efficacement les stratégies de mise sur le marché (GTM) en respectant les jalons clés Construire, améliorer et rationaliser les processus pour une planification et une exécution efficaces de toutes les campagnes marketing. Servir d'expert interne sur les meilleures pratiques en marketing, partageant les enseignements clés avec les parties prenantes Identifier et développer des partenariats stratégiques qui donnent accès à de nouveaux publics et marchés, tout en gérant les finances des partenaires et les mises à jour de performance associées Les rôles, responsabilités et fonctions peuvent évoluer et changer au fil du temps. WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE University Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Fully Bilingual in English and French (Mandatory) with experience in marketing to these audiences 5-7 years of related consumer marketing experience. Experience in the digital media industry, mobile applications, and television is an asset Experience in building strategic, multi-platform marketing plans, incorporating market research and consumer insights into plans Proven track record of achieving business results from marketing campaigns Strong understanding of creating and implementing the Brand Purpose and Brand Vision into organizations Exceptional cross-functional collaboration, communication and presentations skills Knowledge of SEO and SEM disciplines A general understanding of the AI landscape and its emerging impact on consumer behaviour Experience in partnership marketing including negotiation and partner relations Understanding of market, competitive and consumer trends Experience or knowledge of entering international markets and managing localized brand adaptations DON’T MEET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS?
