Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough field walkdowns to gather data and assess mechanical systems and components.

Develop detailed 3D models using PDMS, E3D, or similar software to support plant design and modification projects.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into broader project scopes.

Perform equipment and system evaluations, identifying potential improvements and troubleshooting issues.

Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to support engineering decisions and project milestones.

Ensure all designs and modifications comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Support project management teams by providing technical expertise and guidance during project execution.

Participate in design reviews, providing critical insights to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a plant environment, with a strong emphasis on field walkdowns.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as PDMS, E3D, or equivalent.

Solid understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and plant operations.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
