Join our growing team where everyone belongs We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Consultant (HRC) to work in close partnership with the business to help develop and execute in-depth people strategies. Our work environment is both unionized and non-unionized. What you will do: Identify relevant trends and best practices to help their business areas position themselves for future challenges and adjust their business and operating models as needed. Develop and implement strategies in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, change management, human capital development, talent management as well as organizational development. Collaborate with other functions within HR on projects that support business needs. Perform other duties as assigned Who you are: At least 5 years' experience in a similar HR capacity, with a demonstrated focus on recruitment and employee relations. Labour relations experience is a definite asset. Knowledge of HR principles, procedures, practices, relevant legislation, regulations, Labour / Employment law, and collective agreements, to provide consultation, expert advice and guidance to management. Strong problem-solving skills. Able to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests in a fast-paced work environment. Superior interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the business, up to and including the senior executive. Strongly Preferred: Completion of CHRP/CHRL designation or an equivalent.
