Lead Data Scientist – AI Wealth Management Data & AI is responsible for delivering a global data foundation and innovative AI capabilities across all of Wealth Management’s global businesses. We are looking to hire a seasoned Data Scientist to lead our AI development efforts. What you will do Provide technical leadership working with a team of data scientists and engineers to drive new and innovative AI solutions, delivering without close supervision. Lead the requirements discovery, research, and development for a series of new data and AI digital capabilities for Wealth Management, from idea to design, proof‑of‑concept to production deployment. Conduct research on applied data science projects, focusing on real‑world applications that address operational business challenges. Become a technical subject‑matter expert, assist in the adoption of AI and enable data‑driven processes for the business, working closely with stakeholders to translate use cases into technical problems and iterate on solutions. Must have 5+ years of experience developing high‑impact machine‑learning solutions in a fast‑paced environment; proven ability to apply data science and statistical techniques to solve real business problems; proficiency in building and maintaining models, tuning, and monitoring. Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python; hands‑on programming experience developing modular, robust, and scalable pipelines in Python. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and model deployment for generative‑AI applications in production environments and enterprise‑scale use cases. Strong foundation in ML and AI fundamentals, including inference, fine‑tuning, model architectures, embeddings, and hands‑on implementation using frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit‑Learn, or Hugging Face Transformers. Familiar with software engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing, code reviews, and version control. Nice to have Master’s or PhD in computer science, engineering, or related technical fields. Familiarity with fraud‑risk monitoring in large enterprise financial institutions. Hands‑on experience prototyping generative‑AI applications, including foundational LLMs, transformer models, agentic frameworks, vector databases, and prompt engineering. Experience using AWS SageMaker, S3, Snowflake, Airflow, Hadoop, or PySpark. Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum development methodology.
