Job Description:

Position: FileNet Developer.

Reports To: Krishna kumar - Director.

Experience : 5 - 6 Years.

Work Type : Full time. Contract role.

Job Summary:

As a FileNet Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining FileNet content management solutions for our organization. Your expertise in FileNet P8 and related technologies will be instrumental in ensuring efficient document and content management systems that meet the needs of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:

• Design and develop FileNet P8 solutions based on the organization's requirements.
• Create and maintain content management workflows, document classes, and security structures within the FileNet system.

2. Integration:

• Integrate FileNet with other enterprise systems, databases, and applications to facilitate seamless content management.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure data synchronization and interoperability.

3. Customization:

• Customize FileNet applications to meet specific business needs, including developing custom plugins, widgets, and user interfaces.
• Enhance system performance and usability through tailored solutions.

4. Maintenance and Support:

• Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability and availability of the FileNet system.
• Provide technical support and issue resolution for end-users and administrators.

5. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security measures, access controls, and compliance standards within the FileNet system.
• Ensure data integrity and adherence to regulatory requirements.

6. Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Train end-users and administrators on system usage and best practices.

7. Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to identify and resolve issues.
• Implement and manage version control for custom code and configurations.

8. Scalability and Performance Optimization:

• Monitor system performance and scalability, making necessary adjustments to accommodate growing content and user requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a FileNet Developer with in-depth knowledge of FileNet P8.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and other related programming languages.
• Familiarity with ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and BPM (Business Process Management) concepts.
• Experience with database management and integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of security practices and compliance standards in content management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications in FileNet or ECM are a plus.
