OverviewSr. Account Manager, Special Loans & Restructuring at TD Securities. The role involves managing a portfolio in the LRG (Loan Recover Group) within the Equipment Financing Division (TDEF), developing collections strategy and file strategy for the Small Business / Commercial / Corporate Banking segment, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support restructuring efforts.ResponsibilitiesRetain good quality clients to help achieve business objectives.Contribute to economic profit by meeting pricing objectives, pricing for risk, and maximizing recovery of funds.Minimize loss to the Unit by timely response to deteriorating situations.Maximize recovery to the Unit with creative restructuring solutions.Control costs with sensible use of third-party professionals retained by TDEF.Utilize BBHub, Salesforce, Ekip, Jira, and CARMA Credit effectively.Assess and adjudicate credit applications with appropriate risk assessment, structure, due diligence, and presentation.Operate in a compliant manner, complete all required compliance training and attestations.Develop creative solutions to minimize risk and provide support and flexibility to clients during restructuring.Protect the Bank's assets by using risk monitoring systems and evaluating account performance; apply credit assessment techniques and tools.Share best practices from managing higher risk lending situations.Understand and comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct; understand the equipment finance market and portfolio industries to provide value-added service while mitigating risk.Interpret and apply TD's risk management strategy (credit and operational).Ensure a comprehensively monitored higher-risk portfolio within approved guidelines and procedures to minimize loss.Demonstrate empathy and deliver solid restructuring solutions with best-practice service standards.Deliver exceptional service at every interaction and continuously improve the customer experience.Build knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factors; resolve customer and credit issues with creative solutions.Identify changes in the business environment and establish action plans to address issues and priorities.Develop and maintain relationships with customers at an appropriate level; balance time with needs and profitability.Represent TD at network events and enhance the bank's brand.Lead, mentor, and collaborate with team members; build relationships with business partners and professional firms.Serve as a reference point for others in areas of personal expertise.QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, Commerce, or related field.Restructuring or workout experience is an asset.Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Credit or Equipment Finance.Bilingual (French & English).About TDTD is a global financial institution focused on delivering customer experiences.
