POSITION OVERVIEW: Oracle BI Lead / Architect Primary Purpose: Provide reporting expertise to all areas (Financials, Sales, Operations, Procurement, etc.) and act as the technical consultant for reporting packages within the company. Tasks may include analyses, research, software configuration, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, training, documentation, and maintenance of reporting applications. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Major Duties & Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and establish a roadmap for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions aligned with business goals. Develop data models such as star schemas, snowflake schemas, and data marts for data warehousing and BI. Implement data validation, cleansing, and auditing to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Monitor and optimize BI solution performance. Manage BI projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and scope adherence. Implement new information systems while maintaining normal business operations. Perform quality testing of report coding and configuration setups. Ensure thorough testing by individuals, team members, or end users prior to deployment. Collaborate with business units, data analysts, IT, and other teams to understand data needs and deliver BI solutions. Provide training and support to BI users and mentor junior team members. Ensure safety and security of reporting assets, maintaining network and server security. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 5-8 years of experience as a programmer/analyst. Experience with reporting software such as Oracle OTBI, BI Publisher Reports, Fusion Data Intelligence. Data warehouse experience. Programming skills in SQL and PL/SQL procedural language. #J-18808-Ljbffr
