OverviewBrown’s Bay Resort and Marina is seeking a dependable, hands-on Marina Operations Supervisor to oversee daily marina operations and support a safe, efficient, and welcoming waterfront environment. This role is well suited to an experienced marine professional with strong leadership skills, operational awareness, and a commitment to guest service.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily marina operations, including docks, moorage, fuel dock, and waterfront facilitiesEnsure safe vessel movement, proper mooring practices, and compliance with marina safety standardsSupervise, train, and schedule marina staff; provide on-site leadership and directionAssist guests with docking, moorage, fueling, and marina-related inquiriesMonitor weather and marine conditions and respond appropriately to changing conditionsConduct regular dock inspections and coordinate minor repairs and maintenanceEnforce marina policies professionally and consistentlyCoordinate with resort management, maintenance, and front desk teamsRespond to emergencies, incidents, and guest concerns promptly and effectivelyMaintain accurate operational records, incident reports, and daily logsComputer Knowledge & Administrative SkillsExperience using reservation and marina management systems to manage moorage availability and guest recordsAbility to accurately enter, update, and maintain reservation dataFamiliarity with inventory tracking and ordering systems for marina supplies, fuel, and operational materialsAbility to monitor stock levels, place inventory orders, and coordinate purchases with managementBasic proficiency with spreadsheets for tracking inventory usage, deliveries, and reordersComfortable using email and internal communication systemsExperience with point-of-sale (POS) systems for guest transactions is an assetQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in marina operations, marine services, or waterfront supervision preferredSupervisory or leadership experience considered a strong assetSolid knowledge of boating practices, dock operations, and marine safetyStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to remain calm, professional, and decisive in emergency or high-pressure situationsPhysically capable of working outdoors and assisting with vessels and equipmentRestricted Operator Certificate Maritime (ROC-M) certification required or willingness to obtainFirst Aid certification preferredWork EnvironmentSeasonal position with potential for extensionIncludes weekdays, weekends, and holidaysOutdoor, waterfront resort settingWhy Work at Brown’s Bay Resort and MarinaScenic oceanfront work environmentSupportive, team-oriented workplaceOpportunity to play a key role in daily marina and resort operationsOn Site accommodations negotiableHow to Apply:Please apply with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience to esther@brownsbayresort.com #J-18808-Ljbffr
