We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink at our Flin Flon, Manitoba branch on a Permanent (FT) basis.As part of our employee promise, here are some benefits of working with us:Flexible health and dental insurance benefitsPersonal Spending allowance for a healthy lifestyleRRSP with company matchingESPP - Employee Share Purchase Plan with matchingDress for your day policyCompetitive compensation with bonus potentialEmployee discount programs including Apple, Bell, Rogers, and morePaid time off including personal, volunteer, exam/study, jury duty, and starting at 3 weeks of vacation annuallyRecognition as one of Canada's best employers (e.g., Kincentric 2024)Role Responsibilities:Assist clients with ongoing needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls, and process renewalsSell new policies and retain existing client bookHandle MPI Motor Vehicle & Driver License issuingCoordinate with underwriters and adjusters regarding policiesPrepare documentation, complete applications, issue certificates, process changes, and review renewalsManage customer payments, deposits, and petty cashStay current with underwriting rules and workflowsParticipate in training initiativesEngage in community marketing activitiesCandidate Requirements:High School or Post-Secondary education; equivalent skills consideredPrevious insurance experience preferred but not mandatoryValid insurance license for the province or willingness to obtain oneExperience with Epic is an assetStrong customer focus and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsWe thank all applicants for their interest.
