Location: Canada (remote) Languages required: French and English About the Role: We are looking for compassionate and skilled EAP Clinical Counsellors to provide support to clients across Canada. This is a fully remote position, offering flexible day shifts or night shifts and the option for full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (32 hours/week) work. Salary ranges from $62,000 (day) to $68,000 (night), plus competitive benefits. What We’re Looking For: Master’s degree in mental health (social work, counselling, psychology, or related field). Licensure is not required; we actively support your journey to obtaining it through clinical supervision and dedicated allowances. Fluency in English and French. Minimum of 2 years of direct client contact providing counselling or mental health services. Experience with clinical assessment tools and short-term counselling modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Integrative, or Systemic counselling. Training in crisis intervention and supporting high-risk clients is a plus. Ability to work with clients experiencing substance abuse, crisis situations, mental health symptoms, or relationship/family challenges. What You’ll Do: As a Clinical Counsellor, you will connect with clients via phone, video, chat, and email, creating a safe and supportive space where they feel heard and understood. Responsibilities: Provide single-session telephonic and video counselling, in-the-moment support, and crisis management. Conduct thorough assessments to determine suitability for short-term counselling. Manage high-risk situations, collaborating with clients and referring appropriately. Appropriately refer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of our holistic approach. Develop clear and concise treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of care and excellence. Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management. Why Join WPO?
