Business Analyst, ERP Reporting

OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst, ERP Reporting & Analytics to act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams in delivering reporting solutions across the enterprise. This role requires strong proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, Embedded Analytics, and SAP Business Data Cloud, along with the ability to gather and translate reporting requirements into detailed functional specifications. You will be responsible for ensuring reports and dashboards align with business objectives, while maintaining compliance with governance, privacy, and security standards.ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.Engage business users to elicit, document, and validate reporting requirements.Analyze business processes to identify reporting needs, KPIs, and data sources.Translate requirements into clear, complete, and testable functional specifications.Collaborate with data developers and BI teams to ensure technical specifications align with business needs.Support development and testing of reports by providing sample data, test scenarios, and validating outputs.Maintain traceability from requirements through to final report delivery.Promote adoption of enterprise reporting tools by supporting training, demos, and knowledge sharing.Ensure reporting complies with internal data governance, privacy, and security policies.Technical ProfileProficiency with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Data Cloud.Strong ability to navigate and interpret SAP data models.Skilled in writing structured functional specifications and supporting documentation.Ability to troubleshoot reporting logic, data integrity, and performance issues.Functional Profile5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, reporting, or ERP analytics.Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business.Strong understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.Skilled at facilitating discussions between technical teams and business stakeholders.Team-oriented mindset with a meticulous approach to accuracy and completeness.Skills SummaryCore Expertise: Business reporting and analyticsSAP ERP reporting solutionsData governance and complianceLanguages & Frameworks: SQL (querying and validation within SAP data models)Cloud & Containerization: SAP Business Data CloudDatabase & Messaging: SAP HANA data models and CDS viewsDevOps & CI/CD: Not applicableOther Tools & Technologies: SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, SAP Fiori, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint)Soft Skills: Strong communication and facilitation skills; analytical problem-solving; team collaboration; accuracy and structured documentation; stakeholder engagement and training supportPay range: $39.86/hour - $62.29/hour.
