Senior Civil Engineer-Transportation Join Sener, an independent engineering & construction firm established in 1956, to work on urban integration projects for rail transit infrastructure in Toronto. The role involves supporting business development, revising designs, supervising subcontractors, and liaising with clients. Responsibilities Support the business development team for potential opportunities for highway bridges in collaboration with the bridge engineering team across Canada. Revise designs provided by subconsultants and/or back office. Supervise back office and subcontractors on the delivery of construction design of urban integration (roads) in urban environments. Supervise the development of the discipline within the project assigned, reporting progress and schedule to the design management team. Potentially act as Engineer of Records for final design where not part of a subcontractor. Liaise with clients, reporting progress, design solutions, alternatives, and risks. Provide technical input within multi‑disciplinary design teams. Requirements 10‑15 years of experience in transportation and urban integration locally. Professional engineer (P. Eng.) registration mandatory. Experience in detailed design coordination. Ability to work in a multi‑disciplined team. Attention to detail and strong time‑management skills. Effective reporting to upper management, coworkers, clients, vendors, partners, and contractors. Willingness to learn, develop, and apply new techniques, standards, and processes, and to take on additional tasks as needed. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Excellent analytical and technical writing skills and strong organizational and critical thinking abilities. Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
