Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Technology Delivery, the IT Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring IT adheres to all compliance and audit requests. The role will work directly with Risk, Internal & External Audit, and regulatory bodies to determine the required compliance measures, and then liaise with the IT Leadership team and SMEs to gather and prepare the compliance and audit artifacts. Responsibilities Manage the overall IT Risk Management program, including regulatory compliance (OSFI, SOC2), and internal & external audits (SOC2) ensuring IT compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, including OSFI guidelines (e.g., E‑21, B‑13, B‑10) and other applicable financial industry regulations. Work with Enterprise Risk, and Internal Audit to understand existing and new regulatory and audit requirements for IT. Make recommendations and provide solutions and enhancements to existing IT risk and compliance practices to keep pace with regulatory changes. Work with IT Leadership, and internal/external stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor compliance strategies. Develop and maintain the annual IT Risk Management Program roadmap ensuring all regulatory and audit requests for IT are responded to in a timely manner. Plan and manage corresponding roadmap initiatives aligned with EPMO processes. Develop and communicate IT risk management program KPIs, and reporting. Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans from a risk perspective. Stay current on regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure the IT Risk Management Program remains current and effective. Provide advice and support to EPMO technology projects to support addressing any regulatory requirements or risks. This position requires work from our Oakville office but offers a flexible hybrid work model that allows employees to work remotely from their home office. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant work experience. Professional certification(s) related to information systems (IS) risk management and/or IS security such as CRISC, CISA, is preferred. 5+ years of experience in IT risk management with strong knowledge of OSFI regulations, preferred within Financial Services or Insurance Industry including managing an IT Risk Management Program that includes preparation for regulatory compliance (OSFI, SOC2) and internal & external audits. Demonstrated experience with developing and executing IT risk self‑assessments, risk mitigation strategies and risk monitoring & reporting (KPIs). 3+ years of project management experience. 3+ years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of Confluence, Jira & Power BI preferred. Possess highly developed communication and diplomacy skills to enable you to lead, persuade, and influence others and exchange technical information with a non‑technical audience.
