Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Full Time Sales Associate for our Windsor store located at 650 Division Road. This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible. As a Sales Team Member with us you will be the face of the Ashley brand for our guests, helping them to find the perfect pieces to make their space a home. You will be backed by the support and coaching of your Store Leaders and Sales Managers who create a fun and collaborative sales environment. Ashley is committed to investing in our team members; we offer: Eligible to earn up to 7% of net sales on product sold (rate varies by category).Eligible to earn up to 12% on Product Protection Plans sold.These are the starting commission rates. As team members exceed sales goals, they may be eligible for higher commission rates. At a minimum, team members will make $17.60 per hour.A clear progression path for your development, with the ability to move up and earn higher commissions when you reach specified sales targetsComprehensive benefits plan, educational assistance program and excellent employee discountsA fun and collaborative working environmentWorld class training programs for sales team members and leadersThe opportunity to work with a purpose-driven organization that is consistently ranked as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies As a Sales Associate, you will: Provide product knowledge, features and benefits to help inform our guests’ purchase decisionsMeet or exceed sales and productivity goals.Ensure stock availability when making a sale.Enter sales orders accurately and take paymentsManage open orders and delivery timelines.Develop and maintain a prospect system including outbound calls, leads generated from eCommerce chats, web, telesales, appointments and walk-in trafficMaintain knowledge of competitor pricing, programs, products, and service.Constantly improve your product knowledge and sales skills by actively engaging in Professional Development programs, Manager coaching and online learning. As a successful candidate you will have the following: High school diploma2+ years sales experience in retail, commissioned sales, marketing, or related areas is preferredProven selling skills, including demonstrating a strong sales approachAble to create, design and coordinate attractive room settings is desirableExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWell-organized, ability to follow through tasks to completionExperience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs and technology.Must be available to work long hours standing, including days, evenings, and weekendsMust be able to lift and move products up to 30 pounds without a lifting device AI tools may be used during the hiring process to screen, assess or select applicants for the position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
