The West Coast General Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide urgent locum services.West Coast General Hospital, with 56 acute care beds and a 3-bed ICU, is a modern facility that incorporates a unique and inviting design complete with an indoor atrium.Services include 24-hour emergency room, ambulatory care, acute medical/surgical and psychiatry services, cardio pulmonary, diabetes education, laboratory, medical imaging (CT scanner), nutrition counseling, pharmacy, occupational therapy, SLP, social work and physiotherapy services. Clinical specialists include anesthesiology, general surgery, urology, geriatrics, psychiatry, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics and radiology complete with PACs imaging system.Expense Reimbursement - paid travel time, meal allowance, transportation, and accommodations.May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change):Port Alberni, a coastal city with a population of 18,000, is situated in the majestic Alberni Valley surrounded by breathtaking scenery.This temperate valley climate offers an array of year-round outdoor activities.
