Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP APO PPDS Consultant.This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also participate in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to proposal development, client training and internal capability building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet changing needs in the global landscape.Basic Qualifications For Lead SAP APO PPDS ConsultantCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario / Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.At least 7+ years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.PPDS Job DescriptionAt least 10 years of overall experience in SAP APO PPDS/SAP S4 HANA PPDSAt least 5 years of experience in implementing SAP S4 PP/DS or SAP APO PPDSExperience with interacting/consulting/convincing with customer representatives; drive design sessions, write up test scripts & support IT/UAT/Training/Cut-over etc.Experience with Pharma-based implementation is a must.Ability to own delivery & drive PPDS design independentlyBasic knowledge of SAP IBP Demand and SAP CI-DS is required.Good understanding of integration with SD, MM, PP, Manufacturing and QM modulesSAP product certifications are a plus.Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements. Experience in a highly regulated environment preferred.Implementation experience of PPDS features including: Master Data; Detailed Scheduling Planning board & functions; Detailed Scheduling Heuristics; PPDS Subcontracting; Campaign Planning.Understanding of how DS tools in PPDS work and support day-to-day business operations.The job entails sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
