The Role The Mark Anthony Group is looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Toronto or Vancouver. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Production & Quality, the Production Planner will be responsible for identifying Canadian RTD production requirements. The Production Planner will build a strong relationship with the Canadian co‑packers and develop a sound understanding of the co‑pack network to assemble production plans aligned with targeted inventory coverage. They will also maintain strong communication channels both with co‑packers and internal stakeholders and report on KPIs monthly. Production Planning Plan and communicate production schedule with co-packers/re-packers Maintain and update ERP system daily/weekly based on production yields, schedule changes, and pending requirements Work closely with Material Planners to understand material availability and build plans to mitigate any material shortages Maintain accurate ERP data to communicate upcoming production and material requirements to Supply and Material Planners Monitor performance relative to contractual obligations with co-packers Production Process Improvements Support the optimization of multi‑step manufacturing to shorten lead‑time and minimize waste Learn and document co‑pack manufacturing capabilities to better plan production & innovation Develop and maintain master‑data in ERP system to optimize producing the right amount, at the right time, at the right place, for the lowest cost. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Cadence Support our S&OP cadence with inventory, pending production, and timing risk Create scenarios/options to maximize our co‑pack network and minimize any write‑off risk What You Will Bring Minimum of 2+ years of production planning experience in a multi‑site network Experience with ERP/planning systems required Prior CPG or Beverage Industry experience Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or similar an asset Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, BI experience an asset Demonstrated ability to work across functions, business units and geographies – a strong background in a matrix organization is beneficial Effective business systems thinker and a good understanding of business process knowledge Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time Excellent oral and written communication skills Why Join Us? The typical hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan ; the base pay is determined by market location and job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
