Responsibilities:
  1. Perform required engineering calculations with in-depth knowledge and work experience in electrical heat tracing (EHT) and other design activities
  2. Review and authenticate documents & deliverables
  3. Mentorship of more junior/intermediate engineering resources
  4. Develop and assure adherence to company engineering policies, procedures, and systems
  5. Assure all work is delivered in a manner that aligns with our vision and business objectives
  6. Assurance of quality for team deliverables
  7. Work with other members of the engineering team and individuals from other divisions within the company to continually improve our integrated design and manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency
  8. Have input in and follow design methodologies and practices utilized by the team through all aspects of the project lifecycle, from concept to initial operations
Successful candidates will have:

Professional Engineer with bachelor’s or equivalent degree in electrical engineering including active memberships, in good standing status with both APEGA and EGBC are required.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience with strong oil and gas background (such as gas plants, wellsite, oil batteries, liquid gathering and handling facilities). EPCM background is an asset.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence decisions.
Strong hands-on capabilities in supporting field start-up, plant operation and troubleshooting of systems produced.
Proficiency with engineering practices, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements pertaining to oil and gas industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
Must be legally able to work in Canada.
