Cabinet Expressions seeks a Finishing Assistant to prepare and finish custom cabinetry and millwork. The work includes surface preparation, staining, sealing, wood repair, and quality control. On-the-job training and growth opportunities are available for someone eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand, clean, prepare, and inspect raw wood components
- Apply stains, sealers, and treatments to match specifications
- Repair knots, cracks, dents, and other imperfections
- Inspect pieces against company quality standards
- Operate sanders, spray equipment, and finishing tools safely
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Woodworking or cabinetry experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
