Family Physician - Private Clinic Join us to apply for the Family Physician - Private Clinic role at Interior Health Authority. We have an exciting opportunity for a rural Family Practice Physician in Williams Lake, B.C. The role is part of our new Primary Care Hub (“PCH”) opening soon. The PCH will also house a multi-disciplinary team of Allied Health Resources including a Mental Health Substance Use Clinician, Dietician, Respiratory Therapist, Clinical Pharmacist, Occupational Therapist, and Registered Nurse. In addition to your clinical work, there are numerous opportunities to build the practice of your dreams, which could include maternity, long‑term care, oncology, palliative care, ER, and other areas of interest. The team support from local surgeons, obstetricians, paediatricians, internists, and psychiatrists is outstanding. Family physicians in this community are strongly encouraged to support IH services, including rural ER, in‑patient care, LTC, OAT, and maternity, as part of their community practice. Leadership Development Opportunities are available with Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program. The NAVIG8 Emerging Physician Leaders Program is a comprehensive leadership development program designed specifically for physicians to address the practical leadership knowledge, behaviours and skills that high‑potential, emerging medical leaders require to step into leadership roles early in their careers.
