Operational Cryptography Advisor – Desjardins Join to apply for the Operational Cryptography Advisor role at Desjardins Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities Integrate and maintain secure cryptographic solutions in production with high availability Automate security and cryptography tasks Apply hardening to Linux environments and configure cryptographic labs under Kubernetes Manage banking payment services in environments such as Z/OS and HPNS Apply security patches in sensitive environments Design and conduct secure and audited key ceremonies Operate cryptographic environments in cloud and on-premises infrastructure Help plan security and compliance activities related to cryptography Work with DevOps and security teams to resolve technical issues Help clients choose and implement tailored solutions and adjust intervention plans Requirements Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in information security Experience in cryptography and knowledge of the new challenges of cloud cryptography, post-quantum cryptography and certificate life cycle changes Knowledge of French is required Proficiency in integrating secure cloud solutions: Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS, Google Cloud KMS and certificate management systems Proficiency in cryptographic concepts including PKI, TLS, X.509, symmetric/asymmetric algorithms, and SSL and OpenSSL certificates Proficiency in Linux and knowledge of Kubernetes Proficiency in compliance standards: FIPS, NIST, PCI-DSS, CAB Forum Proficiency in payment association procedures and understanding of banking system and payment services requirements Proficiency in various development languages and automation pipelines such as Python, Java and GitHub Actions What We Offer Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.
