This includes achieving efficient production levels, maintaining a high level of quality, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a safe way.To do this, the Line Leader will ensure open lines of communication, managing line workers efficiently, ensuring all materials to complete a job are available, and to operate/maintain equipment regularly. All required documentation will be completed with attention to detail while ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is maintained on each production run.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise and train all general labour personnel in the assembly of displays and other packaging.Maintain and follow GMP guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environmentContinually observe and improve production efficiencyReconciliation of feeder stock and components at the end of each shift. Discrepancies to be reported to the Production SupervisorFoster and maintain open lines of communicationCommunicate any quality issues with the quality inspectors.Attention to detail is essential to ensure high quality products are delivered to the customerCapable to perform in a fast pace environmentWorking regularly with computer software such as Microsoft Office/WindowsPerform other duties as assigned.Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followedEducation & ExperienceHigh School or equivalentPrevious experience on packaging equipment is considered an assetOne (1) to two (2) years of pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic packaging and machine operating experience are considered an asset but is not requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesBasic understanding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ability to read production specificationsEffectively build strong teamsMust be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionMaintain and high level of trust and integrityWMS software, Microsoft Office, SAP are all considered an assetProficient use of the English language (Reading, Writing, Speaking)Physical Requirements:Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse settingPosition may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer locationLifting up to 50lbs on a regular basisStanding for long periods of timeStooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basisAll Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
