Quality Team Support Specialist 12 months contract – high possibility of extension Location: Victoria, BC – required to work five times a week onsite at the dockyard. We are seeking a specialist to support a large defense company’s shipbuilding portfolio in Victoria. The role involves technical documentation, ensuring all requirements are met for the Department of National Defence (DND), and maintaining material certification and quality assurance records. Responsibilities Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure it meets all defense sector requirements. Assist with material certification processes and review object quality evidence (OQE). Inspect, analyze, and audit job records to verify compliance with quality assurance and material certification standards. Review safety‑critical technical documentation and provide feedback on process improvements. Support the Department of National Defence (DND) for material certification requirements and quality records. Qualifications Experience working on technical documentation within the defense sector. Experience supporting naval/shipbuilding tasks (preferred). Experience supporting the Department of National Defence (DND) for material certification requirements and quality records. Experience with job records inspection, analysis, audit processes, and reviewing technical documentation for compliance within quality assurance and material certification. Committed to process improvement and continuous quality requirements feedback. Offer salary range: CA$65.00/hr – CA$80.00/hr, based on skills and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
