We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Editor with a strong background in e-commerce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be adept at crafting compelling content tailored for online shopping platforms, coordinating with various organizational departments to incorporate expert knowledge, and managing content with a keen eye for detail and process orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and edit high-quality content for our e-commerce platform, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and meets the needs of our target audience.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to gather insights and integrate specialist knowledge into content.
• Manage the content lifecycle from creation to publication, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.
• Uphold editorial standards and consistency across all digital channels.
• Monitor content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Maintain accountability for content quality, meeting deadlines, and adhering to the editorial calendar.
• Work closely with the marketing, product, and design teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a content editor with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and original content.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to produce content that reflects collective expertise.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong project management skills and a track record of delivering content on time and to specification.
• Familiarity with content management systems, SEO principles, and digital analytics tools.
• Ability to work on complex and critical digital platforms, with a focus on driving business results through content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
