About the Role Veterinarian, DVM – Location: Edmonton, Alberta – Employment Type: Fixed Term Full Time, Maternity Leave. Responsibilities A valid veterinarian with a full license allowing practice in Canada Confident in soft tissue surgical, spay, neuter and dental procedures. Provide preventative care for various small companion animals; overweight, underweight, gastro, skin, ear, dental and other issues that are identified and need to be discussed to prevent future problems for the client’s cherished pet. Experience in describing and offering nutritional advice for a variety of pets. Dedicated to promoting team‑based medicine practices. Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with colleagues, pet parents, and the community. A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey. A love for all companion animals.
