Personal Support Workers provide home and community care in Gananoque, supporting daily living, independence, and patient-centered care under supervision.
CarePartners seeks Personal Support Workers for patients and families in the Gananoque area. You will assist with personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions. The work includes cognitive, social, and emotional support, plus meal preparation aligned with care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living and personal care activities
- Support household tasks, respite care, and medication assistance
- Demonstrate safe transfers, body mechanics, and home safety
- Provide cognitive, social, and emotional patient support
- Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and special diets
Requirements:
- Valid Personal Support Worker or accepted equivalent certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to patients
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Availability for mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends
- Valid G or G2 license, vehicle, and insurance
Support Gananoque patients through personal care, safe daily living assistance, emotional support, and nutritious meal preparation.
