OverviewElectrical & Instrumentation Supervisor role at Atlantic Packaging Products Ltd. position located at Scarborough (333 Progress) plant.ResponsibilitiesSafety and ComplianceActively encourage the sharing of SafeStart stories by team members.Actively participate and co-lead the maintenance department safety meetings.Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance department.Evolve and mature the safety culture by actively participating in the safety conversation process.Conduct regular safety inspections and address safety concerns promptly.TPM LeadershipPromote TPM principles across the maintenance team, driving employee engagement in ownership of equipment upkeep and performance improvement.Actively participate in the Daily & Weekly Operations Review (DOR & WOR) process.Facilitate TPM training for technicians.Lead TPM Breakdown Analysis meetings, working closely with Production Engineers, Operators and Tradespeople to establish root cause of critical breakdowns.Preventive MaintenanceImplement a robust preventive maintenance schedule based on equipment criticality and manufacturer recommendations.Monitor adherence to scheduled maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.Analyze maintenance data to identify potential equipment failures and proactively address them.Corrective MaintenanceRespond to equipment breakdowns promptly, diagnose issues, and assign repairs to technicians.Oversee the quality of repairs and ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.Collaborate with engineering teams on complex equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Performance Monitoring and ImprovementTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) related to OEE and maintenance costs in support of the New Forest Business Plan.Identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance.Conduct regular equipment audits to identify potential issues and address them proactively.Team ManagementLead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks based on skills and workload.Provide technical guidance and support to technicians.Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members.Leadership AttributesShows moral courage, openness, and honesty in all dealings.Is optimistic and self-aware.Creates a team environment where participation, mutual respect and collaboration between departments and functions is common.Is self-motivated, flexible, proactive and committed.Can balance multiple priorities in complex situations.Can function in a diverse and dynamic environment.QualificationsStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Proven experience in implementing and managing TPM programs.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Travel required to other plants.Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.Problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.Proficiency in maintenance management software.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Atlantic Packaging is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all colleagues and customers feel valued and supported.
