Resident Physiotherapist / Physiotherapist – Regular Part‑Time – Rehabilitation Department West Parry Sound Health Centre invites applications for a Resident Physiotherapist / Physiotherapist (OPSEU 2025‑346) reporting to the Clinical Manager. Role Overview Provide inpatient and outpatient assessment, consultation and treatment services as part of an interdisciplinary team with an in‑house mentor. Key responsibilities include establishing treatment goals, maintaining clinical and statistical records, consulting with physicians, patient teaching, and contributing to departmental strategic planning. Benefits Hourly salary: $40.36 – $56.30 (based on experience) plus the following benefits: Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) 4 % vacation pay and 14 % pay in lieu of fringe benefits (12 % if enrolled in HOOPP) Employee & Family Assistance Programme (EFAP) Wellness Programme & onsite gym Basic Requirements Master of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent. Current licence or eligibility for membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Resident Physiotherapist). Current membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist). Pass written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (Resident Physiotherapist). Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a full caseload. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. CPR basic rescuer certificate. Commitment to continuing education and maintenance of high professional standards. Demonstrated satisfactory attendance, performance and positive references. Knowledge of relevant computer applications and software. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years’ experience in physiotherapy. Experience supervising rehabilitation assistants and students. Advanced Practice Physiotherapist (APP) experience. Experience conducting musculoskeletal assessments. Superior level of skill, experience, ability, and qualifications. Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (travel may be required). Additional Information Applicants must provide proof of COVID‑19 vaccination before commencing employment.
