Role Summary Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance partnered closely with the CFO on financial planning, analysis, financing, and investor relations. The role focuses on management reporting, BI‑enabled insights, and FP&A system implementation to create dashboards that translate operational and financial data into actionable insights for the executive team. Location GTA Compensation Base Salary: 80 k–95 k Performance Bonus: 8–10 % of Base Salary Eligible for ESOP What You’ll Do Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, including cash flow and business line‑level modeling. Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning to enable data‑informed decision making. Partner with business to translate operational data into actionable financial insights. Own S&H TAM and market competitive analysis across business units to support strategic initiatives. Lead FP&A system implementation to streamline reporting, analytics, and budgeting processes. Investor Relations & Reporting Prepare board materials, investor updates, and financing documents with accurate, timely, and insightful analysis. Maintain dashboards and KPIs for revenue, margin, and cash flow performance using BI tools. Support Series B and other fundraising preparations, including investor presentations, financial models, and due diligence packages. Strategic Initiatives Support M&A, partnership, or investment opportunities with financial modeling and scenario analysis. Collaborate with the Director of Finance and CFO to validate assumptions, prepare financial diligence materials, and model post‑transaction impacts. Assist in evaluating government grant programs, financing options, and other funding opportunities. Ad‑hoc projects and tasks as required. What You Will Bring 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance in a startup or high‑growth environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus, investment banking experience is a plus. Strong financial modeling, scenario planning, and business analysis skills. Hands‑on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent); experience with SQL and Python is an asset. Experience supporting fundraising, investor reporting, or strategic transactions preferred. Familiarity with multi‑entity, multi‑channel business models. Strong communication, presentation, and business partnering skills.
